The Department of Mechanical Engineering held another successful engineering convocation and research symposium on October 4, 2006.  The event began with welcoming new students, an honors and awards ceremony, and brief overviews of the department's research areas, as well as an overview of the Technology Management Program.

A poster session was then held outside ESB 1001, and everyone had a chance to view many research posters, socialize, and enjoy refreshments.
