In anticipation of the arrival of our incoming graduate students and to celebrate the many accomplishments of the ME Department, our Graduate Committee held the first annual Mechanical & Environmental Engineering Convocation & Research Symposium on Monday, September 20, 2004.

This convocation/symposium served as the formal welcome of our new graduate students and included an awards ceremony. Presentations were made by the Chair, Vice Chair and representatives from each research area by students and faculty. Following the formal program, a reception and poster session was held in the ESB courtyard.
