The purpose of this project is to work cooperatively with another team in order to improve last year’s Baja car. As a background, last year’s team placed 33rd out of 85 schools that attended the Society of Automotive Engineers, or SAE, Baja competition, and was the first UCSB team to ever finish the four hour endurance race. Working off of this success, we intend to improve upon this performance to firmly establish UCSB as a competitive school and raise on-campus awareness of the Baja project.
