I finished my secondary school from Indian Education Society's English
Medium School, Dadar in 1997, and higher secondary education from R.
Ruia College in 1999. I then joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering,
IIT Bombay and received a Dual Degree (B.Tech. and M.Tech.) in
Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Computer-aided-Design and
Automation (CADA) in 2004. After a brief industrial experience with General Electric's India Technology Center,
I joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of
California Santa Barbara in Fall 2005, where I am currently working
towards my Ph.D. in Dynamics and Control. In the summer of 2008, I was
an intern with UtopiaCompression
Corporation in Los Angeles, CA. Scholastic achievements 5. Academic Prize, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bombay, 2002. 4. Gold Medal
