Graduate Student Alexander Davydov is awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship

The Mechanical Engineering Department is excited to announce that 1st year graduate student Alexander Davydov has been awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship!

Alexander's research interests are in the analysis and control of nonlinear network systems.  His NSF GRFP fellowship will focus on developing mathematical tools for the systematic analysis of large classes of network systems including robotic networks, power networks, neural networks, and others.  Additionally, Alexander is interested in the algorithmic design of patrolling strategies for robotic networks with applications to coast guard surveillance.  His research will allow others to analyze and control network systems in a more methodical manner.
